Houston Healthcare Announces Manoj Shah, MD, as Chief Medical Officer and VP of Medical Affairs

Houston Healthcare, a community-based, not-for-profit health system located in Warner Robins, GA, is pleased to announce the appointment of Manoj Shah, MD, as its new Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and Vice President of Medical Affairs, effective January 6, 2025. Dr. Shah brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of excellence in medical leadership, patient care, and clinical innovation.

Most recently, Dr. Shah served as physician advisor for Houston Healthcare’s Medical Staff Department. Prior to that, he practiced obstetrics and gynecology at Physicians for Women in Warner Robins for many years, making history as the first physician in Houston County to serve as President of the Medical Association of Georgia.

As CMO and Vice President of Medical Affairs, Dr. Shah will oversee clinical operations, lead quality improvement initiatives, and collaborate with the medical staff to ensure the highest standards of patient care. His leadership will be instrumental in advancing Houston Healthcare’s goals, including enhancing patient safety, expanding specialized services, and fostering innovation.

Dr. Shah completed his post-graduate training at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He holds lifetime board certification in obstetrics and gynecology from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Shah and his family have lived in Warner Robins since 1985, with his three children educated in the Houston County school system. He remains deeply engaged in the community, sponsoring teacher awards and science fairs annually.
