Please join us as we work together to ensure safer care delivery, achieve better medical outcomes, reduce risk and liability, lower medical costs, and foster an authentic culture of safety at Houston Healthcare. Houston Healthcare is currently developing its initial Patient & Family Advisory Committee on Quality and Safety (PFACQS®), with support from Vizient and H2P. This will truly be a community-driven project, with no involvement from administrative staff (except for support functions) or members of Houston's boards.
Some hospital systems initiated PFACQS® many years ago, but for most healthcare organizations, this is an initiative that has started within the past few years or is still in the early stages. This process is being strategically laid out as a clear, followable path designed to enhance program effectiveness and ensure a sustainable, successful outcome.
We would like to invite interested employees and community members to apply to join our inaugural committee. Applicants will be screened and interviewed before the final selection is made. We aim to gather a diverse group of individuals with a range of experiences and skill sets. The only prerequisite is a genuine interest in patient quality and safety.
Houston Healthcare values the talents and input of our community, and this
is an important step toward our vision of connecting people, community,
and care. Thank you for choosing to participate in this vital process.
